Bro built a $18k MRR app because his dad took 3 days to write one email 👍

Bro got stuck in a hospital bed for two weeks and watched his dad take 3 days to write one email. Kourosh’s dad is “an insane workaholic, on his computer 24/7.” So for two straight weeks it was click, click, click, right next to his hospital bed. At the same time, Kourosh was playing with ChatGPT’s dictation and thought: “I wish I could just give him this dictation absolutely everywhere.” That became Voicy. It’s a speech-to-text app he built for his dad, and it now makes $16K to $20K a month as a side project.
